iBook (All White) : Hard Drive Things to do first: Keyboard/Airport Card Bottom Case Lower Shield Top Case Top Shield Disconnect the indicated cable, and remove the black tape attaching it to the hard drive. Pull up on the main data cable handle as indicated, disconnecting it from the logic board. Lift up the hard drive, and disconnect the main data cable from it as indicated. The drive~s side rails will easily pop off, so make note of their orientation.
