Titanium : Display Cable
Things to do first: Keyboard Internal Modem Bottom Case DVD Module Logic Board


Remove the four screws holding on the hinge port covers. You should then be able to remove the hinge port covers with your fingers. If not, you can gently pry them up with a razor blade taking extra care not to scratch either them or the case itself.

Unscrew the 2 screws near the display data cable.

Lift up on the display support to provide more freedom of movement for the cables.

Unscrew the 2 screws near the inverter cable.

Lift up on the display support to provide more freedom of movement for the cables.

Disconnect the inverter cable from the inverter board. Remove any yellow tape holding the inverter cable in place. The inverter cable can then be removed without difficulty.

Pull the smaller cable near the display cable through the gap as shown. Be very careful working near the display cable as it is quite fragile.

Slightly twist the end of the display cable to prepare it for removal.

Slide the end of the display cable through as shown.
