| Remove the three indicated screws. |
| Unlatch the battery by turning the thumb screw clockwise to the unlocked position. Remove the battery. |
| Loosen the three feet by prying them up with a sharp edge. Remove the screw underneath each of the three feet. |

| Using a sharp edge, pry the bottom case away from the rest of the Powerbook. Work your way around the edges slowly. |
